In the last year of World War II, General Vitay, one of the leaders of the Hungarian resistance movement, hid his daughter, Gina, in a church educational institution along the border. Gina is a cheerful girl who loves the exciting life in Budapest. She finds difficult to adhere to the strict world of the institute, and in addition, with an irritated outburst, she puts her schoolmates in a difficult position, therefore they exclude her amongst themselves. Series Overview

The story takes place during World War II. Vitay Georgina is enrolled by her father, General Vitay, in the completely closed, residential Calvinist Matula Girls' Institute in the town of Árkod, on the outskirts of the country. He does not tell Gina why, as her new classmates would accept her, but after she fights with them over a silly game and betrays them, she is ostracised.
